Name Giving Ceremony

The Name Giving Ceremony is a special time when family and friends come together to celebrate the birth of a baby or to welcome adopted or stepchildren.

It is a warm and meaningful occasion recognising the parent's joy, hopes and wishes for their child.  Grandparents and Guardians/ Godparents/ Mentors (your choice of name) can be honoured by being recognised as having a responsible role and involvement in the sharing of the child's upbringing.

Specially prepared certificates can be given to the child, parents and others involved in the ceremony in recognition of their role in the child's life.

The Name Giving Ceremony is celebrated at a place and time chosen by you and the ceremony can include any rituals, poems and music which are meaningful to you.

Choose from a selection of poems or you may prefer to write your own. Your Name Giving Ceremony can also include a personal ritual such as a wish box, the planting of a tree or shrub, releasing balloons, lighting candles, contributing to a time capsule or any other idea you may have.

A warm and memorable ceremony will be created for you and your family and friends to enjoy.
